IT services and solutions provider Data#3 has expanded its Western Australian management team with three new hires, just months after announcing the company’s move to a new digital and collaborative workspace in Perth’s CBD.

Craig Ellis, Desmond Phua and Mark Ehlers have joined the management ranks.

Phua joins as professional services manager for Western Australia, following previous roles at Data#3 as field service manager and project manager, while Ellis — who previously worked at Telstra — is new to Data#3 and takes on the role of infrastructure solutions manager for Western Australia.

Ehlers, who will be licensing sales manager for Western Australia, comes to Data#3 with a diverse range of sales, leadership and technical experience, and also ran his own family retail business.

Data#3 general manager for Western Australia, Kingsley McGarrigle, said, “I’m delighted to welcome Craig Ellis, Desmond Phua and Mark Ehlers to the team. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge having worked on many large local and national projects to solve complex customer challenges.

“Our people are our biggest asset. Providing them with the environment, support and career pathways to progress within Data#3 is critically important. When we see talent become available in the market, it’s also great to inject this talent into the local team.

“As promised at the start of this financial year, we will continue to invest in local top talent to facilitate our expansion and align to our strategy - ultimately helping to deliver the best services and solutions to our customers."

In May, Data#3 moved to its Perth CBD state-of-the-art facility which the company says puts it at the “forefront of digital innovation, allowing staff to better serve customers and technology partners”.
