"I am delighted to have someone of Gene's calibre on board to lead our APJ Security business," said APJ president and general manager, Martin Mackay.

"Gene is a seasoned executive in the security industry and has led high-performing and high growth organisations.

"He is joining us at a very exciting time where his extensive experience and expertise, coupled with our industry leading solutions, will help serve our customers' growing security needs while enabling and protecting their organisations."

Ng joins CA from IBM, where he led the ASEAN security business.
