WatchGuard Technologies has appointed Peter Fraser as ANZ southern region sales engineer.

"I am thrilled to welcome Peter to the WatchGuard team in Australia. He has an outstanding track record of working with distribution channels and in deploying and supporting complex network solutions architecture infrastructure," said ANZ regional director David Higgins.

"By having Peter on board we are well placed to capitalise on the momentum within the market to exponentially grow sales. He is a great addition to our regional team."

Fraser has been in the IT industry for 15 years and has extensive experience in network engineering, solutions architecture and programming.

He was most recently a director of WebSafetyNet.

Fraser previously held several roles at Schepisi Communications, including pre-sales architect, IT manager, and voice and data specialist.

Earlier in his career he was director of Crossfire IT where he provided hands-on support and pre-sales services to clients.

Fraser holds a Diploma of Computer Science from Holmesglen TAFE.
