Virgin Mobile lets you wear your heart on your sleeve, err, phone

By

Virgin Mobile's Covers for a Cause let you show your support for The Salvation Army's Oasis Youth Support Network Sydney.

As a tie-in with Youth Homelessness Day on April 18, Virgin Mobile is selling limited edition mobile phone covers for $35 each.

Virgin Covers for a Cause

This year's beneficiary of Virgin's Covers for a Cause is The Salvation Army's Oasis Youth Support Network Sydney. The four covers have been designed in collaboration with Sir Richard Branson, Natalie Imbruglia, ksubi, and Oasis support recipient Dean Good.

The covers are available for iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy S2 and Sony Ericsson Arc handsets. They may be purchased from Virgin Mobile stores, or via the company's Facebook page.

"Virgin Mobile's Covers for a Cause reminds us all that the young people who find their way to Oasis are homeless, not helpless. If we make enough noise we can shine a light on this important issue and help put an end to youth homelessness. That's my dream," said Sir Richard.

Major Robbin Moulds, the director of Oasis, said "We are absolutely thrilled to be able to partner with Virgin Mobile Australia through this amazing fundraising initiative, with all proceeds going directly to support the cutting edge programs we provide to homeless young people every day of the year."
