Telstra adds iPad Pro to its plans

Apple’s iPad Pro is on the march into Telstra, which now offers the 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad Pro from $85 per month.

As always, accessories being the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard don’t appear to be bundled, meaning they are optional accessories that are nevertheless listed as enabling ‘productivity at its best - teamed with the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil.’

Telstra’s iPad Pro page is here, priced at $85 per month over a 24 month period with 1GB of data for the S plan.

$92 per month is the M plan over 24 months gets you 4GB of data, $109 for the L plan gets you 8GB, while $155 on the XL plan gets you 15GB per month, with a 25GB plan per month plan available, too.

Naturally, the iPad Pro is compatible with Telstra’s 4G and even faster 4GX networks, with ‘typical download speeds between 2 to 75Mbps’.

Apple reminds us all via Telstra’s announcement that the iPad Pro has its amazing display, its 64-bit A9X processor, 802.11AC Wave 2 MIMO technology, wide 4G LTE band support and more including 3.5G and 3G technologies such as DC-HSDPA and HSPA+.

My first impressions of an iPad Pro on review from Apple are positive - the device can sit on your knees and not fall off or threaten to fall off as might happen with the less comfortable placement on your lap of a Surface Pro 3.

The pencil feels great in the hand and effortless to use, while the keyboard performs its own magic too. A fuller first look and actual review is to come.

Article concludes below - please read on!

What has come before that is the iPad Pro on Telstra’s networks from Telstra itself, helping Apple’s first native true 2-in-1 device of the modern era shine in a sea of Windows-powered 2-in-1 devices and Google’s Chromebooks and Android tablets.

The 2-in-1 wars between iPad Pro, Windows 10, Google ChromeBook and Android 10 moved to the next level, as Apple seeks to turn the iPad Pro into the most popular iPad ever!
