Optus begins offering iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini on plans Featured

Australia's second largest telco, Singtel Optus, has started offering all models of the iPhone 12 for sale from 7 November (Saturday), including the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the iPhone 12 Mini.

A statement from the company said new customers and those renewing their mobile contracts would be able to get the iPhone 12 mini 64Gb model by paying $33.30 a month over 36 months on the $49 Optus Choice plan which provides 60GB of data a month.

The minimum cost for this plan would be $1247.80 which includes payment for the device over 36 months and one month's payment of the plan.

Apple announced four iPhone 12 models on 13 October, but only two — the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro — were available for sale that month.

A third model, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, had an availability date of 7 November. All devices are 5G-capable.

Optus said it was offering the iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB from $51.36 per month over 36 months on a plan such as the $59 Optus Choice plan including 5G Double Data with 200GB of included monthly data for 12 months (which includes a bonus 100GB from our 5G Double Data offer).

The minimum cost is $1907.96 which includes device payments over 36 months and one month of the $59 Optus Choice plan.
