Revenue, profits up for Dicker Data

By

ASX-listed IT hardware, software and cloud distributor, Dicker Data has boosted its coffers, bringing in $1 billion in revenue for the six months to the end of June 2020 - an increase of 18.3% over the same period last year.

The company says June completed another record revenue month, with revenue for the month finalising at $224 million.

In addition, Dicker Data (ASX:DDR) estimates net profit before tax will finalise at approximately $40 million for H1 2020, up 25% on the first half 2019.

Dicker Data says its strong results solidify the company’s status as a “true Australian business success story”, and despite COVID-19 and supply chain constraints the company is celebrating “the highest revenue month in its 41 year history”.

Dicker Data has announced its annual general meeting scheduled for Thursday 23 July will be a virtual-only meeting due to restrictions imposed by the Australian and State Governments as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and further details on the half year results will be delivered at the meeting.
