Sam Varghese has been writing for iTWire since 2006, a year after the site came into existence. For nearly a decade thereafter, he wrote mostly about free and open source software, based on his own use of this genre of software. If the American technology news site ZDNet wishes to write about Linux malware, nobody on this planet (or even an alien) can stop it from doing so. But being one of the bigger tech sites in existence, it would do well to have a closer look at what it publishes instead of providing fodder for people to poke fun at it.
