Yubico adds Goh and Suartyo to regional roster

Hardware security key provider Yubico has appointed Selina Goh to the role of ASEAN regional sales director, Derix Suartyo to the role of ASEAN solutions engineering lead. They are both based in Singapore.

"Yubico is excited to have both Selina and Derix join our team, especially as more companies adopt YubiKeys as a trusted source of cyber protection," said Yubico's Melbourne-based APJ regional vice president Geoff Schomburgk.

"They both bring with them an incredible wealth of specialist skills and knowledge that can only be of additional benefits to the many businesses that realise phishing resistant multi-factor authentication is essential if companies are looking to reduce their cybersecurity risk."

Selina Goh (pictured above) brings more than 15 years of experience to Yubico.

She previously held sales roles at Revel Tech, Dell EMC, 3D Networks, Colt Technology Services, Singtel, NCS Group, Singapore Computer Systems and Powermatic Distribution.

Goh holds an honours degree in computing from the University of Portsmouth (UK).

"It's an exciting time to be working in the technology sector, especially in cybersecurity," she said.

"I'm looking forward to working with current and new Yubico customers across the region to help them address the cybersecurity security authentication challenges that many organisations in the region face on a daily basis."

Derix Suartyo joins Yubico with around two decades of IT experience.

He previously spent almost 14 years with Lumen Technologies, most recently as senior manager of design and transition.

Suartyo also worked for Fujitsu in Singapore and Indonesia.

He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Bina Nusantara University (Indonesia).
