ThycoticCentrify picks Yusoff as APAC VP

Cloud identity security provider ThycoticCentrify has appointed Wahab Yusoff to the role of APAC vice president.

"With Spencer [Young, newly appointed EMEA vice president] and Wahab leading our International sales teams, ThycoticCentrify is well-positioned to expand on our remarkable global successes," said ThycoticCentrify senior vice president of worldwide sales Damon Tompkins.

"Both are industry veterans who have experience tapping into new markets and excellent track records growing businesses, both vital as ThycoticCentrify continues our goal to help customers tackle today's biggest security concerns with easy-to-use PAM solutions for businesses of any size."

Yusoff has more than 30 years experience in the IT and cybersecurity industry. He most recently served as APJ vice president at Forescout Technologies, and previously held regional vice president roles at Palo Alto Networks, Intel Security, EMC and Documentum.

He is also on the board of directors of Changi Airport Group, Civil Service College Singapore, National Arts Council (Singapore), Workforce Singapore, EZ-Link, and Rekanext, as well as being an advisor to the board of Vehere.

Yusoff holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the National University of Singapore, and studied finance, strategic planning, marketing and human resources at postgraduate level at Heriot-Watt University (UK).

"There is huge potential for growth in APAC and we're dedicated to providing solutions that are simple to use, easy to manage, and allow people to do their job securely," he said.

In related news, ThycoticCentrify team in Australia and New Zealand has grown significantly with the appointment of three new sales executives and two new sales engineers in December, followed by the January 2022 appointment of Paul Barge as ANZ partner alliance manager and Martin Mooney as enterprise account executive in New Zealand.
