Three new pairs of eyes at ThousandEyes

Digital service delivery intelligence provider ThousandEyes has made three senior appointments in Australia.

"We're delighted to add more than 75 years of industry experience to our Australian business with these three senior executive appointments," said ThousandEyes ANZ director Will Barrera.

"Mike [Hicks], Christian [Anders] and James [Barker] bring exceptional business development and account management skills to ThousandEyes and are passionate about helping businesses architect and deploy quality digital experiences.

"We look forward to the positive impact which their astute understanding, skills and knowledge will have on customer outcomes and our expansion in the region as a whole."

Mike Hicks (pictured above) is the company's principal solutions analyst.

He joins ThousandEyes from Ikara Group, where he was director of product development.

Hicks previously held senior roles at Dynatrace, Compuware, Opnet Technologies, ISA Technologies and Alphawest.

Earlier in his career he worked for the European Space Agency and Ford.

Christian Anders is ThousandEyes' new Melbourne-based regional sales manager.

He joins the company from Splunk, where he was a major account manager.

Most of his 30 years' experience has been in IT sales and sales management, having spent time at MapR, Pivotal, Greenplum, Qlik, Kronos, SAS, Computer Associates, EMC, and HP.

Anders' counterpart in Sydney is James Barker.

Barker has spent more than 10 years in the IT industry, most recently as a major account executive at Akamai.

He previously worked in sales at Verizon, CDNetworks, Dynatrace, and Softcat.
