Ractliffe to lead Dell SecureWorks in ANZ

By

Security services provider Dell SecureWorks has appointed Simon Ractliffe to the newly created role of director and general manager for Australia and New Zealand.

"Simon is a tremendous addition to Dell SecureWorks' executive team," said Tyler Winkler, who leads global sales and marketing for Dell SecureWorks.

"He not only has extensive knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand business markets, but he has deep knowledge of the cyber security industry and the security challenges organisations are facing in this region."

Ractliffe has worked in the IT infrastructure market for 26 years.

His CV includes serving as general manager for Australasia at IBM Internet Security Systems, commercial director at Earthwave (acquired by Dimension Data), and most recently as general manager for Australia and New Zealand at CSC CyberSecurity.

Ractliffe has an honours degree in business and economics from Thames Valley University.

"It's one thing to join an organisation that is a leader in your area of expertise, but it's quite another to see such a high level of focus, commitment and investment," he said.

"The Dell SecureWorks team is dedicated to ensuring that clients have access to the very best security advice and cyber defence capability, and I look forward to driving the next phase of our growth in the ANZ region."
