In this newly-appointed role, Drake will be leading the company’s future direction within the region. He will oversee all sales and business operations, playing a key role in expanding Telstra’s portfolio of technology solutions.
Drake has a diverse background in telecommunications leadership. Recently, he led Telstra’s customer solutions and architecture group, overseeing a specialised team of professionals working with customers to harness the company’s products and services.
He also has more than a decade of experience in the international communications space, specialising in building performing teams and scaling in high growth environments.

Prior to Telstra, Drake was vice president of product management at Boulder (CO)-based Zayo, responsible for fibre and infrastructure portfolio of services.
He was also Global Reach (market arm of Zayo) senior director where he was tasked with launching the company’s new market expansion team.
Drake holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder as well as a Master of Public Administration from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
