Infragistics hires Hijikata to run region

Enterprise software provider Infragistics has reestablished its presence in Australasia by hiring Luke Hijikata to take on the role of Australasia regional manager.

"Luke brings extensive experience to our team as a manager and technical lead at one of the largest ICT providers in the region," said Infragistics CEO and founder Dean Guida.

"We are pleased to welcome him as a senior leader focused on delivering value to our customers and we are delighted to have him spearhead our Australasia office."

New Zealand based Hijikata joins Infragistics from Kick Off, where he worked as ecommerce manager.

He previously worked as sports manager at Essentially Group, and as online services manager at Spark.

Earlier in his career Hijikata worked as a systems engineer at Computerland NZ and IT Assist NZ, and as a systems administrator at Tip Top Ice Cream.

"We have relied on Infragistics WinForms components to provide unique capabilities for our desktop software for over 10 years. As we migrate our code base to new UI technologies, we look forward to continuing our partnership with Luke and Infragistics," said Rider Levett Bucknall IT group manager Derek Campbell.
