Porter brings more than two decades of experience in the financial services sector to FinTech Australia.

He most recently worked as chief investment officer at Aventine Capital, and was previously chief revenue officer and ANZ country manager at TransferMate, managing director at WorldFirst, a senior manager at OFX, and a foreign exchange dealer at Travelex.
Porter holds a bachelor's degree in politics and modern history from Macquarie University, and a diploma of financial markets from FINISIA.

I have been given the opportunity to give back to the industry I have loved being a part of from its earliest days, and to help foster its growth at a critically innovative juncture," said Porter.
