Process intelligence and automation specialist Nintex has appointed Jen Bailin to the role of chief commercial officer.

"Jen has led sales and marketing teams at some of the largest technology companies on the planet," said Nintex CEO Eric Johnson.

"As our business continues to grow even in a challenging market, we know that leaders like Jen can help take us to the next level."

Bailin brings more than two decades of sales and marketing experience to Nintex.

Her previous roles include chief revenue officer at SAP, managing director at AWS, vice president of sales at Salesforce, and global senior sales director at Cisco.

Earlier in her career, Bailin spent 17 years at Microsoft, joining the company as global accounts sales manager for the financial services industry, and progressing through various roles to that of worldwide sales leader for emerging businesses.

Bailin holds a bachelor's degree in finance and small business development from the University of Washington.

"Nintex has built a reputation as a company that has deep process expertise coupled with software, and services that organisations of all sizes can use to reduce costs, manage process risk and compliance, and eliminate manual processes," said Bailin.

"But what sets them apart is the fact that customers trust Nintex to help them fulfil a set of business priorities that they can't do on their own."

ENABLE HYBRID CLOUD & REDUCE NETWORK LATENCY WHITEPAPER

Hybrid cloud promises to bring together the best of both worlds enabling businesses to combine the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the cloud with the performance and control that you can get from your on-premise infrastructure.

Reducing WAN latency is one of the biggest issues with hybrid cloud performance. Taking advantage of compression and data deduplication can reduce your network latency.

Research firm, Markets and Markets, predicted that the hybrid cloud market size is expected to grow from US$38.27 billion in 2017 to US$97.64 billion by 2023.

Colocation facilities provide many of the benefits of having your servers in the cloud while still maintaining physical control of your systems.

Cloud adjacency provided by colocation facilities can enable you to leverage their low latency high bandwidth connections to the cloud as well as providing a solid connection back to your on-premises corporate network.
