Joanne Chin joins Airwallex from Kraft Heinz Asia Pacific, where she worked as chief people officer.

She previously served as Waymo's head of people after spending four years in senior HR positions at Google.

Chin started her career as a lawyer with Allens, before moving into HR with the firm.

She holds bachelor's degrees in laws and commerce from Monash University.

David Bicknell joins Airwallex from Facebook, where he worked as one of the company's finance directors.

He previously held a similar role at Twitter, worked as a senior finance leader at Intuit, and spent nine years with Macquarie Capital as vice president of corporate finance in Canada and Australia.

Bicknell holds an honours degree in commerce from the University of Melbourne, and a master's in finance from INSEAD. He is also a chartered accountant, and a member of the University of Melbourne Faculty of Industry and Commerce's advisory board.
