Aguilar joins Acoustic to lead business partnerships

Marketing technology provider Acoustic has appointed Michaela Aguilar to the role of head of business partnership ecosystem.

“We are excited to welcome Michaela to the Acoustic team. With Michaela, we not only get a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, but we also gain her strategic and unique ability to deliver genuinely innovative solutions for brands,” said Acoustic APJ vice president of sales Jeremy Smart.

“Michaela joins us during an exciting time for Acoustic in the APJ region: we’ve recently opened an Australian, cloud-based data centre and continue to expand our headcount in the region to better support local customers and partners. Michaela’s understanding of the industry landscape and proven leadership abilities will be invaluable to Acoustic’s growth.”

Aguilar brings more than 30 years of experience in the digital and technology industry to Acoustic.

She joins the company from the Havas agency where she was head of customer experience and analytics.

Aguilar's previous roles include senior consultant at Catchi, senior engagement manager at 2DataFish, digital solution expert at Gruden, senior consultant at MAD Professional Services, ICT program leader at Parramatta City Council, and business development director at ThoughtWorks.

She has also worked for HotHouse Interactive, Nielsen, Strategist Group, and www.consult.

Aguilar holds a degree in business administration and management for the University of Vienna.
