Launched at the company’s Showcase event being held in Canberra, TechnologyOne says 2018A will keep customers at the forefront of innovation with hundreds of new features and enhancements being rolled out.
The company says the new version has benefitted from robust collaboration with more than 30% of the 253 new features designed specifically after customer community input.
The SaaS solution is a single instance of software, delivered globally, and runs all customers’ entire organisations across government, higher education and the corporate sector.

“We make a commitment to our customers to provide twice-yearly major releases of our software, reviewing every single line of code and integrating a vast array of new features,” said TechnologyOne’s chief operating officer and keynote presenter at Showcase, Stuart MacDonald.
“The 2018A release continually evolves our offering and guarantees TechnologyOne’s enterprise SaaS platform is future proof regardless of whether you are a federal or state government agency, local council, university, TAFE or private corporation.
“Every new feature delivered is geared towards making life easy and improving productivity for our customers, who can have the latest and greatest software on the market without ever needing to concern themselves with the upgrade.”
According to TechnologyOne, one in four public service authorities utilise its services, including 41% of Australian federal agencies and 310 local governments.
“Our public sector business continues to double in size every four to five years and, with the sector’s rapid transition to cloud and our SaaS solution, there are no signs of this growth trajectory slowing,” said MacDonald.
