Till picks up payments processor Zips

Australia-founded payments company Till Payments has acquired Ziosk's Zips payment processing business unit.

Zips and all of its employees have been absorbed into Till, with former chief of fintech strategies Kevin Brown becoming head of strategy for Till North America.

Similarly all of Zips' independent software vendor partners and referral partners across North America have transitioned to Till.

"We're thrilled to welcome Kevin and the rest of the Zips team to our Till Force," said Till North America regional director Tom Tucker.

"Our commitment to developing a fairer, simpler, feature-rich payments solution complements the ethos of Zips. Together, we have no doubt that we'll be making a huge impact on the profitability, sustainability and global market expansion efforts of our ISV partners as we continue to innovate within the broader payments landscape." said .

Till and Ziosk intend to work together. Ziosk will continue to use Till payment processing in the US, and while Till will offer Ziosk Smart Screen payment terminals to its customers around the world.
