Blinker drives home integration deal with Dealer Solutions


Australian car subscription software provider Blinker has announced a new partnership with car dealer software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider Dealer Solutions.

The deal sees Dealer Solutions become Blinker’s first integrated website partner, offering the subscription to its network of over 800 dealers currently using Dealer Solutions as their preferred website partner.

Dealer Solutions is part of Cox Automotive, the world’s largest automotive service organisation, and specialises in data management and website development for the automotive industry.

The collaboration will allow Dealer Solutions’ customers to integrate Blinker’s out-of-the-box subscription software onto their existing websites, and will see consumers able to subscribe to a car directly from a dealership’s website without leaving the house, providing them with a fully digital experience.

“We’re thrilled to be working with the team at Blinker to streamline the process for our dealer customers who want to take advantage of the subscription model to grow their business,” said Michael Sommerton, Chief Executive Officer at Cox Automotive Australia Retail Solutions.

“Blinker’s cutting-edge technology and out of the box solution is already empowering dealers around the country, and our partnership will see car subscription made even more accessible for consumers who expect a convenient, seamless digital experience.”

Managing Director at Blinker, Michael Higgins said: “Our dealer customers have seen strong growth in the number of drivers looking to subscribe for their next car, and they want the ability to incorporate Blinker’s subscription as a core function of their business”.

“This partnership with Dealer Solutions will provide our customers with a seamless out-of-the-box integration, so they can offer the car subscription solution to more Australian drivers directly from their dealership websites.”

According to Higgins, car subscription services such as HelloCars are becoming an increasingly popular option for consumers who want a more flexible alternative to traditional car ownership.

Blinker provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for car dealerships, resellers, and manufacturers, to offer their own vehicle subscription services to customers. The end-to-end platform provides partners with "subscription in a box," including the software, training and services needed to offer the service to customers.
