By

An exclusive new Star Wars collection of furniture to take kids, serious sci-fi fans, Jedis, Siths, padawans, midichlorian users and anyone else wanting an out-of-this-world experience has docked into no small moon – Fantastic Furniture and soon, homes across the Empire, the Republic and beyond.

The force has awoken at Fantastic Furniture, and you don't need to be the last Jedi, a force ghost or someone with astonishing force powers to be storm troop into your closest store, beset by Jedi-like pester power from your kids - or your inner child.

The collaboration with Disney, which is sure to be as popular and profitable as the Star Wars franchise itself, is an exclusive to Fantastic Furniture stores, and is naturally inspired by the popular characters and aesthetics from one of the most successful and recognisable film franchises of all time – and will be flying into stores and Australian homes from 1 October.

Whether you’re a Star Wars fan who loves all things from a galaxy far, far away or an everyday furniture lover, we're told the line-up is "sure to capture the imagination".

{loadposoition alex08}We're told that "some interstellar standouts include an X-Wing bed ($349) and a TIE Fighter bedside ($129), a Death Star-themed table ($99) and matching seat ($49), as well as an impressive collection of character cushions ($15 ea) and wall art ($59 ea) fit for any home empire. Everyone’s favourite droid, the one and only R2-D2, even makes an appearance thanks to a cleverly designed R2-D2 Cupboard ($169) that everyone will love.

"Further additions to the range will be dropping in late October and November, traveling through hyperspace to arrive just in time for Christmas. These include the subtly styled Lucas 1 Seater Chair ($269), a Star Wars Mattress ($159) and Bed Head (from $159), as well as a range of accessories, including Lamp Shades ($39), Manchester (from $39) and Rugs (from $29)."

Caroline Adams, Fantastic Furniture senior buyer, emphasised "how thrilled both she and Fantastic Furniture are to finally launch the range to customers, many of whom are Star Wars fans already".

Adams said: “It has been an exciting journey working with Disney to bring one of the world’s most popular film franchises to Australian homes in a fun, new way.

“A lot of considered time and planning has gone into making this collaboration happen and we couldn’t be happier with the final product – it really is Fantastic! We can’t wait to share it with our customers and all Star Wars fans, big and small.”
