Tech21 launches cases, including antimicrobial, for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro

Tech21 arguably make the world's best smartphone cases, not only with excellent drop protection, but also now with certain cases including antimicrobial protection "built in to keep your case hygienically clean".

Huawei's P30 and P30 Pro smartphones are about to hit retail stores from the middle of April, and while Huawei includes a basic smartphone case in the box, the models from Tech21 are unquestionably superior.

Both models are very impressive smartphones, with the P30 Pro particularly so, as you can read about in my iTWire article on the new smartphones here

Tech21 is well known for its wide range of cases for Apple, Samsung, Google, LG, Motorola and other smartphone brands, as well as laptop cases for a range of MacBooks, tablet cases for iPads, and screen protectors for iPhones, Samsungs, LGs and select Huaweis (but not the P30 or P30 Pro as yet).

However, the new P30 and P30 Pro cases are on their way to Australia.

Let's start with the P30 Pro, for which there is the ever-popular Evo Check case in "Smokey Black" and a lighter "Let Off Steam" colour.

Retailing for A$49.95, both Evo Check models offer what Tech21 says is "more protection" and a "refined design" while also boasting the new "BioCote antimicrobial protection, which reduces microbes by 99.99% to keep your phone case fresher and cleaner for longer, protecting against odour causing and staining microbes, such as bacteria and mould".

We're told that "Evo Check also features an effective three-layer protection system which includes FlexShock, an impact material unique to tech21 that provides up to 12 feet of drop protection".

There's also the Pure Clear and Pure Tint cases for the P30 Pro, and while these don't offer BioCote, they are ultra thin cases that still offer a tough level of protection, at the same A$49.95 price point.

For the new P30 range, Tech21 is offering the same style of Pure Clear and Pure Tint cases as above but designed specifically for the P30 models, while also offering the new Studio Colour range with what Tech21 says is "each with its own distinctive character, from a muted ‘Let off Steam’ blue, for those after a subtle touch of colour to a fresh ‘Blossom up’ pink for those creative spirits and even a ‘Black to black’ for those with a classic heart, there is something for everyone".

These cases have Tech21's "patented ribs" and are made from BulletShield, a "high-performing impact material unique to Tech21", which allows the company to boost that "Studio Colour will protect your phone from drops of up to 6.6 feet (2 meters) - and not just once but drop after drop."

Happily, this new Studio Colour range also includes the aforementioned "Biocote antibacterial protection that eliminates bacteria by 99.5% in just two hours.

"This protection tech is built-in throughout the cases to ensure your case remains hygienically clean and free from stains, odours and material degradation. Which means your cases isn’t just protected drop after drop but touch after touch."

The new P30 and P30 Pro cases will be here from Tech21 very soon, so keep your smartphones safe until you can get your hands on new Tech21 cases!
