Speeding up osmosis: picturing DJI's Osmo and Mavic Air for tech-savvy Mums

Osmosis is the process of gradual or unconscious assimilation of ideas and knowledge, so to speed that process up dramatically, DJI has broadcast its Mother's Day gift suggestions, including the Osmo range, to the cosmos.

Does your Mum deserve something uplifting for Mother's Day? Or something she can fit into her pocket that is arguably the world's most advanced stabilised handheld camera?

Well, if Mum is particularly lucky, and tech savvy, you'll want to check out at least two devices from DJI, although they'll cost a bit more than a bunch of flowers from your local supermarket.

So, what are we talking about precisely?

Well, let's start with one of DJI's most advanced pocketable products – the Omso Pocket.

DJI Osmo Pocket

Billed as a "perfect gift for on-the-go parents who want to capture those special moments in a cinematic memory", the Osmo Pocket is "the smallest 3-axis stabilised handheld camera DJI has ever designed".

Compact and intelligent, the Osmo Pocket is designed to let you "share your life anytime, anywhere".

Besides its hugely small stature, its secret sauce is that it precisely adjusts for your movements in real time, "turning your handheld video of a golden family moment or your child’s first steps into a movie-like scene".

The Osmo Pocket retails for A$599. The official video is below, and another Osmo product can be seen thereafter, so please read on!

Ok, let's concluded with one of DJI's most upliftingly advanced products – its Mavic Air drone.

DJI Mavic Air

Billed as "a marvel of engineering and design", DJI says its compact Mavic Air "was built to go wherever adventure takes you".

For the imaginative and the playful, the Mavic Air "empowers you to push your creative boundaries and is the perfect gift for the adventurous mums out there who don’t want to miss a thing!

"This ultraportable and foldable drone features high-end flight performance and functionality, and comes in 3 colours: Arctic White, Onyx Black, or Flame Red" - retailing for A$1299.

DJI says that it strongly believes that drones, alongside other handheld photographic and cinematic devices, are becoming a key movement in the future of connectivity, and as you can see at the DJI website, the company backs up that belief with a wide range of advanced products.

Here's the official Mavic Air video!
