EPOS unveils new flagship H6Pro series closed and open acoustic gaming headsets

EPOS has announced the release of its next-generation, high-end H6PRO closed and H6PRO open acoustic gaming headsets with exceptional, natural, and expansive high-fidelity audio for the ultimate gaming audio experience.

EPOS continues to demonstrate its commitment to high quality and precisely engineered audio for businesses and consumers alike at an unrelenting pace.

The EPOS H6PRO range builds on the multi-award winning GSP 600 series and unlocks the power of audio. The H6PRO boasts powerful sound, intuitive and detachable boom microphone arms, durable materials, long-lasting comfort, and more. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox series X and S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

Both models are available now with a recommended retail price of $259 ($NZ 279).

For clarity, the H6PRO is available in two models, each of which is available in three colours - Sebring black, racing green, and ghost white. These two models bring all the same comforts and quality but differ significantly in how they deal with external audio.

The H6PRO closed is a closed acoustic model with superior passive noise reduction allowing you to zone in and focus exclusively on the game. The earcups are closed-back and eliminate environmental distractions.

The H6PRO open is an open acoustic model which, as you might imagine, comes with open-back earcups allowing you to game with natural and high-fidelity audio but without totally disconnecting yourself from what is happening around you in the real world.

EPOS gives you the choice of open or closed, without compromise. The closed model delivers focused noise isolation, while the open brings an open and expansive soundstage. Both options deliver the finest audio across the full frequency spectrum.

Both models are packed with features for long-wear gaming, with a lightweight build, padded headband, dual-axis adjustable ear cups, and memory foam ear pads.

Lifting the microphone instantly mutes all communications, and the headset's magnetic boom arm can be easily removed and replaced with a sleek cover plate if you prefer to use an external microphone, or want to ensure there is no microphone in use.

The headsets are compatible with all major platforms and perform optimally with binaural headphone surround sound through the EPOS Gaming Suite free software for Windows when paired with the EPOS GSX 300 external sound card.

They both include an ergonomic volume wheel on the rear earcup and ship with PC and console analog cables and two cover plates for the detached boom arm.

Whether you prefer closed or open acoustic, the H6PRO range offers all gamers a competitive edge through premium audio.
