Announcing the initiative on Tuesday, Citrix said the series will feature a range of local and international subject matter experts from industry “leading companies and industry influencers”, including Brian Solis, “an award-winning author and futurist”, Andrew Hewitt, employee experience analyst at Forrester Research, and Donna Kimmel, Chief People Officer at Citrix.
“Each week, the series will share management strategies and best practice on how to build productive and engaged remote workforces, and establishing business continuity plans with the flexibility and resilience to respond to disruption,” said Citrix.
The announcement follows the launch of Citrix’s recently commissioned Working From Home survey revealing that the home office is more than a temporary crisis measure.
According to the survey 78% of Australian office workers believe that working from home arrangements will become more common after the COVID-19 crisis.
Recent programs have discussed the importance of employee experience, business strategy during disruption and employee readiness, and Citrix says the upcoming webinar will feature insights from members of the Citrix Office of the CTO around specific industry experiences and effective business continuity planning.
Citrix said it has “more than 30 years of experience partnering with customers and partners in Australia to adapt to market changes and employee expectations on the future of work - and its Synergy Digital event, which was originally scheduled for May has been postponed and will be delivered as a virtual program later this year.
