iTWireTV interview - Felipe Flores, founder of Data Futurology

iTWireTV speaks with Felipe Flores, founder of Data Futurology. Felipe explains the mission of Data Futurology to help practising data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and other data professionals in their journey to becoming data leaders.

Felipe speaks about his own personal journey and how he became fascinated with the possibilities of data and went from a backpacking door-to-door salesman to developing headbands that proactively detected if a long-haul driver was experiencing signs of fatigue and alerted them to pull over and keep safe, and his further work beyond.

Felipe speaks about the current state of tools and provides other advice and insights on how businesses can embark on a path of data maturity and how individuals like you and I can get on board the exciting world of data ourselves.

Felipe speaks with humour and passion about the tremendous possibilities data offers people, businesses, society, and the world at large.

Data Futurology has two upcoming events:

Advancing AI - Sydney, 30 August 2022
This event will explore the critical checklist, providing advice from those realising the value and revealing how to turn opportunity into adoption.

Data Engineering Summit - Sydney, 31 August 2022
As organisations look to harness value from AI, data engineering serves as the gateway to successful productionisation and scale. As we officiate at the marriage of data science, software and data engineering we’ll review organisational team structures, systems and agile approaches that can accelerate delivery, continuous monitoring and improvement and better understand how to navigate the path to data value.
