COMPANY NEWS: Versent, an Australian-born technology consultancy powering cloud-native businesses, announced today that it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Delivery designation for AWS Transfer Family. The designation recognises that Versent follows best practices and has proven success in helping customers build sophisticated business-to-business file exchange solutions with Transfer Family while leveraging Amazon Simple Storage Service and Amazon Elastic File System to securely store data and the rich set of data analytics capabilities from AWS.

Achieving the AWS Transfer Family Service Delivery designation differentiates Versent as an AWS Partner Network member that provides specialised technical proficiency and proven customer success to deliver cloud-native managed file transfer and B2B file exchange solutions using Transfer Family. Transfer Family's purpose is to enable customers to fully leverage B2B data generated outside of customers' core information systems to expand their data analytics pipelines. To receive the designation, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS experience and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.

"Versent is proud to receive the AWS Transfer Family Service Delivery designation for the continuous work we do with our customers managing SFTP services," said Versent CTO Tim Hope. "Our team recommends native services to help companies build scalable and robust AWS solutions, leveraging the agility, breadth, and pace of innovation that AWS provides."

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Service Delivery Program to help customers identify AWS Partners with deep experience delivering specific AWS services.

Versent continues to look at the challenges experienced by traditional solutions and continues to focus on enabling modern services with customers. Versent ensures long term value whilst building thorough capability, reliability, and availability in both the design and implementation phases. Versent partners with customers to ensure collaboration in developing solutions tailored to customer needs. With the introduction of AWS Transfer Family, it allows for a robust serverless deployment of a platform enabling customers to ingest or export data to consumers securely.
