Kevin Rose, founder of content aggregator Digg, knows about the iPhone, he's leaked a lot in a podcast which is up on YouTube, and he's nervous about Apple retribution. Rose says there will be two flash RAM iPhone models, 4GB (US$249) and 8GB (US$449), they'll have two batteries, they'll be very small, they'll have a slide out keyboard and they'll be compatible with all the main cellular technologies.

While it’s still early days, a poll of Internet users shows that about one in three intend to upgrade to Windows Vista in 2007. The results are in stark contrast to the predictions of analyst groups who are largely pessimistic about the prospects for Vista in the coming year.

New SAS management appointment

Business intelligence software vendor SAS Institute Australia has appointed Graham Puglisi as consulting manager, Australia & New Zealand, based at the company’s regional head office in Sydney. Puglisi came to SAS from Oracle, where his most recent position was that of Consulting Practice Director, New South Wales.  Before his three years with PeopleSoft and then Oracle, he spent six years with SPL World Group.
