New president for AEEMA

The Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (AEEMA),a peak body representing Australia's information and communications technology (ICT), electronics and electrical manufacturing industrieshas elected Mr Ken Bridges, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Brisbane-based electrical manufacturer, B&R Enclosures Pty Ltd, as its new President effective 1 January 2007. Mr Bridges is the Executive Chairman of the Board for Hager B&R Pty Ltd, an Australian joint venture established in 1993 between B&R Enclosures and Hager AG, a large privately owned electrical components manufacturer based in France and Germany. Mr Bridges replaces retiring AEEMA President Christopher Janssen, Managing Director of GPC Electronics.

Information securiy specialist Cybertrust has appointed Tony Aramze to its Professional Services team as Principal Security Consultant. Aramze has worked in the IT industry since 1987, specialising in IT security. He has extensive international experience, working in markets including Europe, the United States, Japan and South Korea. Prior to joining Cybertrust, Aramze was with PricewaterhouseCoopers for ten years where he held the role of Director within the company’s Global Risk Management Services practice and provided clients with strategic security direction and deployed security solutions. Aramze has also held senior IT security roles within Arthur Andersen, Esso Australia, ANZ Banking Corporation and the Department of Defence.
