Fifty nine percent of Australian IT jobseekers value salary as the most persuasive factor when accepting a new job offer, according to a newly published survey which warns that Australia’s IT talent shortage is set to continue in 2019.
Employment site Seek's latest analysis shows the ICT sector is paying some of the highest average salaries in the country.
Over half of IT & telecommunications employers will give their staff a pay rise of less than 3% in their next review while 8% will not increase salaries at all, according to a newly released 2018-19 salary guide from one national recruitment firm.
