Broadband infrastructure provider FiberCorp is installing fibre technology across property developments in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, claiming the delivery of Internet connections on a standard plan 100 times faster than the fastest speed offered by NBN Co.
Vodafone has provided "improved Internet connectivity to over 300,000ha of farmland, allowing New Zealand’s largest pastoral farming company to run its business more efficiently".
With my 4G smartphone able to offer vastly faster upload and download speeds than all NBN connections in existence today, and while the NBN says it does offer gigabit connections, when NBN Co wants you to ask "how much speed do you need?", it doesn't expect gigabit will be your answer.
