Tesco, the British supermarket giant, is currently advertising a new Dell netbook online. Nothing unusual there, you may think, but this is not the much publicised Inspiron Mini 9. This is a 12 incher that Dell has yet to announce to the world. Now that's what I call a cock up...

The hype around Hyper-V, Linux and Windows continues building as Microsoft and Novell jointly announce full support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Edition as a guest operating system under Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V.

PC maker Dell has posted strong second quarter results, while claiming particularly healthy growth in the Asia Pacific and Japan markets. What's more the recently troubled company claims to be easily outperforming its main competitors in the region.
