Sam Varghese has been writing for iTWire since 2006, a year after the sitecame into existence. A British website has used speed data from Ookla's Speedtest and global average broadband prices from cable.co.uk and come up with what it says is the best value broadband based on cost per Mbps. On this index, Australia is ranked 66th, with the cost per Mbps being $2.26.

Reverse proxy and DDoS protection provider Cloudflare says it will not stop providing services to the website 8chan, despite clear indications that the site hosts child pornography, pointing out that it does not have the ability to take content offline and has a process in place to tackle issues of this nature.
