Microsoft's 365 services have been hit by another outage, beginning at about 2pm EST on Wednesday (5am AEDT Thursday) and affecting the eastern and western coasts of the US.
Amazon Web Services were hit by a system failure on Tuesday (US time) that affected many websites in the US, mostly those of companies across the east coast. The outage has now been resolved.
The outage that affected all major phone carriers on the east coast of the United States on Tuesday was caused by human error — a configuration change — at Level3 Communications, a major backbone of the Internet.
