Australia’s second largest telco Optus has suffered a drop in net profits for the year that ended on 31 March, with profits plunging by 15.8% on the previous year.
Western Australia-based telecommunications provider Norwood Systems has appointed Aidan Montague and Noel Northcott as senior executives to assist with its sales and to drive commercial scale for Norwood’s product portfolio.
The competition watchdog, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, says Australia’s market for broadband and voice services is operating competitively despite the levels of market concentration.
