The federal government is set to trial a new visa scheme to attract highly skilled global talent and deliver innovation to Australia with a pilot programme to be launched from 1 July.
Australian businesses, like their counterparts around the world, are missing out on top talent because they are alienating candidates with poor communication and long hiring practices, new independent research reveals.
Australian-based global technology recruitment specialist Talent has reported solid growth for the six months to the end of December 2017, on the back of a strong performance in APAC, its San Francisco office exceeding expectations and a turnaround in the company’s London office in the wake of the post-Brexit announcement.
