The Australian National University in Canberra has suffered a massive data breach with personal details of staff, students and visitors over the past 19 years exposed.
On-demand employment marketplaces seem all the rage, with A/NZ-based Sidekicker stating it's "leading the way in developing and implementing a benefits program called ‘Unleash’ for its 11,000+ casual employees known as 'Sidekicks'".
Australian tech start-up Teleportivity has launched its updated comm-tech platform at CeBIT 2018, which "captures the effectiveness of face-to-face communication by connecting users to a human operator through digital screens" so businesses can redistribute staff to any location instantaneously.
