HTC Touch Diamond has Windows glass jaw

A lot of media reports are circulating which extol the virtues of the latest hot product from High Tech Computer, the HTC Touch Diamond 3G smartphone, and like so many other products, comparing it to the Apple iPhone. Sorry HTC, but the addition of an accelerometer and a larger high resolution 640 x 480 screen still won't put the new Touch model within shouting distance of the iPhone.

JavaFX to take on AIR, Silverlight

As if Adobe and Microsoft weren't providing enough choices for the development of rich Internet applications with AIR and Silverlight, Sun is aiming JavaFX at the same market.

Curiouser and curiouser – the one company nobody really expected to get the iPhone, in Australia at least, has officially announced it will soon offer it for sale. But this doesn’t mean that initial rumours that all Australian carriers would be able to sell the iPhone aren’t true – until we get further confirmation.
