COMPANY NEWS: Zscaler, the leader in cloud security, today announced that it achieved 100% renewable energy through a combination of directly purchased renewable energy and renewable energy credits (RECs) for its offices and 150+ data centres that run the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange. Zscaler's unique and inherently efficient cloud-based architecture enables customers to improve their security posture and user experience while reducing the need to purchase, maintain, and power on-premises security hardware, thus enabling customers to reduce their IT equipment overhead and consequently their energy usage.

Remote support software specialist LogMeIn is claiming that it contributed to avoiding as much as 63 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions through its customers’ use of GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar during the first year of the pandemic - between April 2020 and March 2021 - compared to daily commuting and business travel for company meetings.
