It's time to talk to the telly, says Samsung

Samsung's CES announcements include a raft of new products heading for Australia this year. Heading the list are TVs with voice and motion control plus face recognition, somewhat reminiscent of Microsoft's Kinect for Xbox 360, but there's a lot more in the company's latest home entertainment ranges.

Kinect's USB kinnection: unprotected by design

Microsoft changes its stance on 'hacking' the Xbox 360's new Kinect motion controller, saying that taking and interpreting the output from a USB connection is not hacking, whereas breaking into the Kinect's algorithms or making physical hardware changes is.

Will there be a market for the improved PS3 Move?

iTWire has had a chance to get some further hands-on time with the PlayStation Move motion controller for the PS3.  Whilst it has improved in many respects from our first look, with an expanded range of launch titles to choose from, will this just be the HD Wii we have been expecting, or something more?
