Optus Sport goes 5G for UK Premier league match

Optus Sport, which is in its fourth year of broadcasting UK Premier League football, is claiming a world first with the broadcasting of a match on a 5G global network.

Pipe Networks to upgrade Sydney Guam cable to 100Gbps

TPG subsidiary, Pipe Networks, is to upgrade its PPC-1 Sydney-Guam submarine cable to 100gbps per wavelength operation using Infinera's DTN-X platform, increasing capacity on the cable to more than 3Tbps.

Primus Telecom gears up to offer IPTV
