Why would anyone want to run Windows 95 in this day and age, when the advanced hardware in use would make it nigh impossible to boot the system? Well, perhaps because one can.

Windows 95 – 20 years old today

Windows 95 released on 24 August 1995, was a big change from Windows 1.x, 2.x and 3.x – it was the end of Windows running over MS-DOS and the beginning of a complete operating system.

So much software would fail under Windows 9

Had Microsoft actually released Windows 9, a great deal of applications would actually fail due to archaic version testing routines.
