Texas plans to blow itself green

State officials in Texas gave the initial go-ahead to construct the largest wind-power project in the United States. The $4.93 billion project will add to Texas being the number one state in wind power.

NASA scientists have been developing ocean maps for almost ten years using the NASA QuikSCAT satellite. The maps are now being used to find ocean areas where winds could produce an abundance of electrical energy.
