South Australia has become the first state to agree to collaborate with the Federal Government on the digital identity initiative known as myGovID, a trial of which is being run by the Digital Transformation Agency.

NSW adopts strategy to spur innovation

The NSW government has set aside $10 million from its Jobs for NSW agency to increase the network of start-ups and incubators, and also earmarked $3 million for direct grants to start-ups.

Dominello says 'seven Ds or you are dead'

NSW minister for innovation and better regulation Victor Dominello delivered the ministerial address at Fujitsu World Tour 2016 in Sydney. His message was brutally clear: “The NSW government has to be data driven to maintain its leadership. If a department comes to me without the seven Ds in place, then I tell them to go away.”
