NBN Co, the operator of the National Broadband Network, has admitted to Australia’s competition watchdog, the ACCC, that it misled Canberra consumers who lived in areas where the NBN was operating into thinking that their telephone and Internet services supplied over the TransACT Network would be disconnected if they did not move to the NBN.
Hosted voice and data communications services provider MyNetFone has launched a new solution designed to help government agencies and utilities intelligently manage and disperse unpredictable surges in telephone call traffic.
Fewer telco and Internet consumers are experiencing problems with their services, but despite the good news it seems that some customers might be reluctant, or just simply don’t bother, to exercise their right to complain.
