Chinese telecommunications equipment provider Huawei Technologies has been hit with criminal charges, among others, by the US, with the indictments being unveiled on Monday, the first day of work after a government shutdown, and just a couple of days before the US and China resume talks on a trade dispute.
T-Mobile is best positioned among US telcos to deliver "real 5G whenever that reality actually materialises", the analyst firm BTIG Research says, adding that its deep and unused low-band spectrum should enable it to launch real 5G before any other firm.
Chinese telecommunications equipment provider Huawei Technologies could face an indictment over alleged theft of trade secrets from its American business partners, including smartphone-testing technology used by T-Mobile in robotic devices.
