nearmap adds solar energy planning tool

Sydney-based nearmap provides frequently updated, high quality aerial imagery used by construction, engineering, real estate and other companies, as well as governments. The latest addition to its service is a tool to help plan solar panel installations.

According to a press release by Huawei Technologies, it has worked with China Mobile to successfully complete a solar-and-wind-power and Internet project in China called ‘The Green Roof of the World.’

NASA THEMIS satellites change solar storm theory
