IT student pioneers CEED's NSW plans

A Masters of IT student based at the University of Sydney, who has been commissioned by Suncorp to work on a project to update GIO's e-greenslips system, is the first NSW student to be placed on a CEED project in over a decade.

Feds launch purple prose for 'puter people

The Federal government has unveiled its whole-of-government strategic ICT workforce plan and ICT career structure in order to develop an ICT workforce 'that can meet the Federal Government's future ICT needs,' according to Lindsay Tanner, minister for finance and deregulation.

Dell anoints wise women (and man) of ICT

A joint initiative between computer maker Dell and the Australian Government intended to recognise individuals and organisations striving to help women rise through the Australian Public Service's ICT ranks, last night announced the programme's inaugural award winners at a dinner in Canberra.
