Online job advertisements published by the website SEEK rose by 39.7% in May month-on-month, the company says, adding however that for year-on-year the total postings were down by 52.5%.
Job advertising increased markedly in May, with South Australia showing the largest job ad growth out of all states in the month, according to the latest jobs advertising report from recruitment firm SEEK.
Unsurprisingly, the number of online job advertisements have taken a mighty tumble in April, with the website SEEK reporting that ads fell 65.5% year-on-year and 49.9% compared to the March 2020 figures.
